IT depends on what kind of look you are going for. The white tiles with black grout between them actually has a certain style of its own.

I would say no, and that's purely from an aesthetical perspective. Black grout will stay cleaner, but will make your tiles appear dingy and take away from the overall appearance. I recommend cleaning white grout once a week with a toothbrush. It's time consuming, but worth it.
