Should I take a one a day vitamin?

I eat well and have never taken a vitamin before.

If you eat healthy and have never taken vitamins before, you shouldn't need to take a daily vitamin. But if you're unsure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist- they may recommend a specific type based on your gender, age or any deficits you may have.

I think it is beneficial especially as you age. Asking a doctor or health expert might be the way to go though as they could tell you more.

If you are eating a nutritious, well-rounded meal, then you probably don't need to take a multivitamin. The problem is that most of us think we eat healthy, but we still end up missing a few important vitamins. Taking them can't hurt, and if you are missing something, they help.

I would say that taking one vitamin a day would not harm you in any way and may help you as long as it is from a reputable supplier.
