Should I moved my budgies to the third floor when my first floor is painted?

As for humans the paint fumes are not healthy the further away they are the better it is for them. If possible to keep them in a place with fresh air (if not too cold, not in direct sunlight) that would be good for them. This is just a precaution, and depends also on the kind of paint used.

Move them to the third floor just in case because house paint fume are very toxic to birds. Keep them up there for at least a week to be sure. Oil based paint is also more toxic than no-vol, water based paints.
