Should I get a wood hamper?

I wouldn't recommend getting a wood hamper. Unless it were made of cedar or any other insect repelling wood,or also, if it were finished with some kind of moisture proof coating. But generally I don't suggest getting a wooden hamper. Wooden hampers,besides attracting insects, are prone to mildew and molds from damp, sweaty clothes.

No if you put something wet in it - it will mold, it will be hard to clean and odor will linger in the wood.
