Should I discuss the results of my blood work with my physician?

Hemoglobin is 11.2 and hematocrit is 33.0. I'm not sure if I should be concerned.

Yes, your hemoglobin is below normal and thus it needs to be investigated and explained by a physician. It may be a benign cause or something more serious.

Both your haemoglobin and hematocrit are within acceptable range and there is nothing to worry about. You should be concerned only if your haemoglobin dropped to the level below 10.

I would definitely discuss the results with your physician just to be sure everything is okay. Its always good to be up front so you can be sure everything is in order.
