A kit car in general is pretty risky as it's not necessary to meet any standards. I would always be worried whether the person who built it did it correctly.

Yes, buying a used kit car can be a very sensible idea, it is likely that the person before you spent a lot of time and money in the car to get it working for certain specifications. If the car meets what you need it to do then go for it!

Just remember when pricing a kit car your not actually buying a lamborghini or ferrari but usually a fiero or miata. Make sure you dont get screwed on the price.

Well they can be a great deal or a huge headache. The value of a kit car is based on how well it was put together. All of them are not built to the same standards. Inspect it very thoroughly before buying to ensure it is safe and worth the money.

As far as I think if you are going to purchase a used kit car, you first have to check its condition that is it ok in all ways or not then buy it.
