Gamesharks are not made by game companies, they are made by a third party company - Mad Catz. They can cause gliches like locking up, crashing and cause functionality problems.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my money buying a Gameshark. It may come in handy for one or two games, but overall, it's kind of difficult to use and doesn't work on all games. You'd be better off searching the internet for cheats for your favorite games, in my opinion. Good Luck!!

If you want instant Game cheats, and dont want to memorize codes from the internet, then yes. There is some speculations that using a Gameshark will tear up your game system, but i have been using a gameshark for about ten years and have never had a problem with my systems.

Gameshark is a useful resource if you wish to cheat, or alter the settings of your video games. If you find you're having trouble beating a game, or wish to change some of the features of your game, then yes, Gameshark is for you.
