If the house is unusually cheap compared to similar homes in the neighborhood, then you should give the house a closer look. Try to figure out the reason why the home is so much cheaper - sometimes the reason is innocuous (like an owner who just wants a quick sell) but a cheap home can also indicate deeper hidden problems.
