Should I be concerned about numbness and high blood pressure during a pregnancy?

Yes you should be concerned. Your body is under a lot of stress and you are rapidly gaining weight every day that passes. High blood pressure can be a huge issue for both you and your baby the further into the pregnancy you get. Talk to your doctor about this so they can monitor you closely.

In a word-- YES!! This is very serious. It can mean preeclampsia and is dangerous to you and your baby. Talk to your doctor as soon as possible.

Yes you should be very concerned. These are signs of preeclampsia which is a serious medical condition that needs to be treated right away. Other signs of preeclampsia include seeing spots before your eyes. If you are feeling very sick, you should be seen at the emergency room right away.
