Should I be concerned about bumps on the back of my cat?

Can cats get ticks? What else what it be?

Hi, The bumps on your cats back could be ticks, moles, abcess. It's very rare but yes cats can get ticks. Go to your vet to check it out.

Cans can get ticks. It could also be infected bites from fleas. Try to groom the area and check for ticks. If possible, give your cat a good antibacterial bath to remove any dander in order to kill any live insects. You can get medicated shampoos at most retail shops.

Cats most certainly can get ticks, but they can also have things like moles. The best recommendation is to have the vet examine them. They could be anything as small as a mole or as serious as a cancer.

I would be concerned. It could be an infection, an insect or animal bite, tumor or other health issue. I would take the cat to the vet, its worth the peace of mind to know it's all right.
