My router is 200' away, and my wireless signal goes 150'. I have an iPad device. How do I boost signal on the receiving (iPad) end?

You cannot 'boost' the signal at the receiver, only the transmitter, which can be done by increasing the power of the transmitter. You could try fitting an external more efficient aeriel to the ipad. (this would require taking it apart)

You have two options: move the signal source closer or increase its' strength. Closer can be a cable to an external antenna, stronger can be a booster amplifier. Another way is to install another wireless router closer. The simplest answer would be a cable from the router antenna connector to an antenna closer to the device.
