The probably need something to chew and they don't have anything sufficient. Give them carrots and lot of crunchy foods.

Rabbits' teeth grown continuously and need to chew to trim them. They chew out of boredom as well. Give your rabbits more time outside of cage to exercise and provide more chew toys might help. If not you may need to switch to a bigger and/or metal cage instead.

Rabbits have teeth the grow very quickly, rather like squirrels and beavers. They need to chew to keep themselves healthy. Removing the plastic parts would be ideal, but either way you could try substituting for untreated wood products or grasses with woodier stem materials.

If you can not keep them from eatting the plastic on their cages, then surround the area with tin or use metal cages with wood supports. Rabbits will continue to eat about anything. If you add items to the cage for them to chew on, they may leave the plstic cage alone.
