My Motorola phone won't ring. What's wrong?

You may have the phone off or in silent mode. Often there is an indicator light on the screen if you are in silent mode. If you see a phone with wavy lines, indicating vibrate mode, or a phone or music note with a slash through it you are in silent mode.

Check you personal profile setting and make sure you have the silent setting turned off and the loud/vibrate setting turned on.

The first thing you want to check are your profile settings. You may be putting your phone on "normal" but the settings on that profile may be set to off.
