Angelfish appreciate long, reedy plants like vallisneria try feeding live food like mosquito larvae or add a little salt after water changes,t o help produce slime coating on their body.

You might not be cleaning out your angel fish's tank enough because some fish food releases ammonia which can get a fish really sick.
