Must the dealer fix the roll pin and the park pawl shaft on the Taurus that I bought used?

I am not sure what you are asking, I assume you bought it from them and want them to fix it for free? The likely answer is no they do not. Check your local laws and the fine print of your purchase agreement. Maybe you can negotiate a lower price since you bought the car from them. Good Luck!

In normal case ,they dont even use that. They always prefer new spares that were bought by themselves. Since dealer gets some commision in this,i think they dont fix that.

The answer to your question will be in the paperwork you have from the purchase. You should have a 30 day warranty for the parts in the vehicle. I would check this first.

While most states do have various laws in place that try to protect consumers; however what a dealer is responsible for will vary greatly from state to state. In general, the contract you get when you buy a used car will discuss what exactly the dealer is responsible for in the terms of the agreement.

Even its a single driven used car, you must ask the dealer to fix the roll pin and the park pawl shaft for the Taurus. This will not only give you a long run, but save money on any overhall in future.

Typically unless you bought and extended warranty that covers this then they might not have to cover it. Usually dealers issue a warranty where the drive train is only covered for 30 and the dealer only pays about 30% of the repair cost.
