I've had pain in my joints and muscles for over 6 months all over my body everyday. What could this be?

Pain in muscles and joints can be a host of different medical problems. Arthritis, is a condition that causes joints to become enlarged and painful. Fibromyalgia and RSD are other condition which cause pain in the muscles. I would contact your physician for a referral to a Rheumatologist for further testing.

It could be a symptom of fibromyalgia. There are at least 7 pressure points in the body that have to test positive for pain for this diagnosis to be given. It could also be arthralgia or osteoarthritis.

It could be any number of things, including fibro and lupus, all of which are diagnosed with specific tests. Make a list of symptoms to report to your doctor. There is no need for you to be miserable. Your doc can help.
