A kidney polyp is an unusal growth of tissue in the kidney. It does have a blood supply just as any other tissue in the body and hence does have a potential for bleeding. A Doctor need to be consulted if blood is noted in the urine.

Yes, it is, especially if they burst. If you have blood in your urine you should consult a doctor immediately.
