Yes it is, if you have a good contractor that knows what he is doing. Marble is such an elegant looking to put in your home. It can crack and scratch easy if not installed properly. There is no reason why you can not install it on uneven floors.

Marble thresholds can be an add bonus to any home. this type is easy to clean and maintain. with correct choice of stone the beauty is fantastic. polishing is easy. the marble takes the eye away from an uneven floor. it helps the contractor look better in a poor situation.

As long as the proper preparation work is done, which will level everything, it should not matter. Marble can be very brittle, and if the floor is left uneven, this could lead to cracks or breaking. Anyone who installs marble professionally, however, will be accustomed to the leveling work that is required before installation.

I don't think it is a good idea to use a marble threshold, installing one does not solve the problem of an uneven floor, and besides,for someone like me who has a baby, this could be dangerous especially with an uneven floor. I would rather solve the uneven floor first.

I have had various types of floors installed recently . I wouldnt think it would be a very good idea , due to the lack of flexibility .

This would be a bad idea. Uneven floors with objects that are not flexible will only result in one thing, the object breaking. If you install this threshold on an uneven floor, you will likely break it in a short amount of time. Your best bet is to try to find a metal threshold capable of covering the gap.

Well, you can go ahead and install it. I don't see why it would make a difference. But it might look funny if the floor is uneven. Therefore, it could be better on even floor.

It depends on the types of flooring on either side of the threshold. If you are joining tile or something similar that type of threshold will work fine. If using carpet, it may not.
