Xenon is an element; in fact, it's a noble gas. It has atomic number 54 and can be found in the far right column of the periodic table with the other noble gases.

Xenon has a atomic number of 54, that means it contains 54 protons and 54 electrons. It is on the far right of the periodic table and the top fifth of the periodic table. It is a noble gas meaning it does not bind to most of the other atoms. One of those atoms is fluorine.
