Question by  worker3346 (13)

Is there such a thing as an 8-ounce drinking glass?

I can find lots of sizes, but not one that is exactly 8 ounces.

Most of the glasses made for residential use hold approximately 10 ounces of liquid so there is wiggle room without spilling. Try a store that sells only dishes.

Yes, there are 8-ounce drinking glasses, but they are not usually carried in mainstream stores. Try shopping in resale or thrift stores. Another option is to look for breakfast or juice glasses. They are generally smaller. 10-ounce glasses are readily available. They allow you to pour 8-ounces of liquid, leaving a little headroom so you don't spill.

You can find 8 oz. glasses if you go to the Solutions website. The Libbey brand still makes 8 oz. glasses. Williams-Sonoma sells an 8.25 oz. capacity glass. You can find quite a variety of 8 oz. drinking glasses on eBay also.

Yes, that's one of the most popular sizes for a glass. A quick search on a popular search engine will turn up many reputable retailers - in addition to thousands of items.

There are such things as eight ounce drinking glasses. I suggest looking in hand-me-down stores instead of department stores, where they are hard to find.
