You'll find a wide range of colours, from white to many shades of gray, and tawny reds through browns, but you'll never see a true black fox felt. These different colours of fur aren't all naturally occuring in the wild, but the result of selective breeding by American and European fur farmers.

there are definitly such things as black foxes. i have personally seen some. and they are rare to find because up til a year ago i had only seen brown or red ones as well. maybe go visit colorado im pretty sure they have them there. foxes usually come out at night, could be another reason you dont see blackies.
