Is there software that helps you cross-stitch?

There are computer programs that help you do this. It works like software you load into a computer that is attached or part of the stitching machine. You then program the pattern into the computer and watch it weave out the cross stitch pattern. Simple really but the programs are difficult to master.

Yes I have softwarefor counted cross stitch. It is for my PC and tells how to buy the fabric how to start and finish stitching. It gives other tips also.

If there is software I don't see how it would be helpful. You need to concentrate on the material and where you are at. Looking at a screen would through you off and you would make plenty of mistakes. Follow the paper pattern book. With the computer there would be too much around you to do a good job.
