I mean, it looks like my cat has some zits.
Answer by Mitz (36)
Cat acne is a condition that actually does exist in felines. It is most commonly found on the chin of the cat. The condition is easily treated.

Yes, cats do get acne. In my cats it appears on the chin. There is medicine to treat it, but my vet recommended plain over-the-counter human acne medicine, which is cheaper and just as effective than animal medication.

Sure, cats get zits. They are stressed like humans! Of course, that isn't the only cause. It definitely is worth a trip to the vet.

There is, but cat acne doesn't look like human acne. It looks like black dirt under the chin. It's usually caused by bacteria from plastic bowls.
