Question by  DrDon (25)

Is there one hand cream that is better than the others, or are they all about the same?

I can't use anything greasy.

Look for a hand cream that is a humectant, which will hold in moisture. Ingredients to look for are glycerin, petrolatum, and dimethicone. It is important to first exfolliate hands with a hand or body scrub, then apply hand cream. One I have found that works well is Gold Bond Ultimate Healing. Neutrogena and Aveeno products are also good.

Greasier hand creams are more effective at preserving the moisture in your skin. I you can't use anything greasy, then be sure to reapply your nongreasy hand cream frequently.

For me I have found that bath and body works have a great hand cream. It works very well and I don't feel like I have oil on my hands.

I think they are all pretty similar. I would try and avoid hand cream with a lot of Vaseline in it and a cream without a lot of fragrances.
