Is there harmful bacteria in milk?

No, there is not. There is only good bacteria. But all milk is bad for you because it contains hormones.

I am not aware of anything harmful in milk, except for the fat and calorie content in the different types. There are good things in milk, such as vitamin D, and calcium.

Most brands of milk are pasteurized to kill the harmful bacteria. However, some states allow the sale of raw milk, which is not pasteurized and most definitely not for people with compromised immune systems. Of course, raw milk will likely be labeled as such, so there should be no confusion.
