No. Demons are mythical, and as they do not exist, cannot possess a human. Historically, demonic possession was used to describe a range of psychological and medical conditions before the physical causes were understood. Some cultures and religions may still describe misunderstood symptoms of physical or mental illness as possession.

As with all things related to belief, there is no evidence that can be brought out and waved to say "This is So". There are those who claim to have experience with demonic possession - and there are those who claim demonic possession is how mental illness was interpreted in the past. One, the other, or both might be true.

Demonic possessions can be seen in films and is well documented and believed by certain religions, such as Roman Catholicism. To the eyes of a more medical or scientific believer, one who is "possessed by a demon" is actually mentally incompetant and is psychologically damaged. Therefore, there is no absolute truth to demonic possessions.
