Is there any treatment for an allergic reaction to jewelry?

I hate it that I can't wear jewelry.

There is coating that is made specifically for this. It's called Super Surface Eco and it can be purchased on the company's website. It is more expensive than clear nail polish but it doesn't chip off and it is safe to use on jewelry.

Most common metal allergy is nickel, followed by copper. Dermatologist can do patch testing. Try moleskin plus cut to fit for clip earrings/watch bands/bracelets. Jewelers have finding catalogs & will order posts/backs,etc. for you. Buy earrings that can have wires switched out. Target has a nickel-free line. Buy sterling/18K gold/platinum.

There is not really a treatment for this. But with things suck as earring you can use clear fingernail polish to paint the tip that goes through you ears. That way there is not contact with your ear and the metal. I do this myself cause I'm allergic to certain metals too.

There isn't really an effective treatment for jewelry allergies but you can try some things like putting clear nail polish inside of a ring that you react to.

You can buy anti-allergy urethane coatings to apply to nickel or copper based jewelry, whatever you happen to be allergic to. Some people also use clear nail polish, but I don't recommend this as readily, it will flake off with time.

While I don't know of any treatment, you can do a few things. If it's metal, use stretchy wire. Or try coating entire piece with clear polish before wearing.
