Several remedies exist for treating thrush. Soak plantain seeds in water until it forms a gel. Apply this gel to the thrushy area. You could also try a pinch of baking soda dissolved in a small amount of water.

Yes. The compound gentian violet can be used to treat thrush and is quite effective. It can be found at most vitamin, supplement, or herbal stores. The only drawback is the bright purple color that has a tendency to temporarily stain the skin.

There are two natural remedies that can work for thrush. Although they are not herbal, per se, they are natural and will not harm you or your baby. One is yogurt. Buy a plain, organic yogurt and apply it directly to the outbreak and the inside of the babies cheeks and tongue.Baking soda and vinegar is another remedy.

No I don't think there is. Take nystatin lozenges or liquid. The liquid you swich and then spit out. The real question is why do you have thrush. Thrush is not normal in a healthy individual and may indicate something serious like cancer or hiv infection. Get it checked out.

It's not herbal exactly, but natural yogurt is a traditional home remedy. It can be eaten, or (if you don't mind the mess and smell) applied as ointment.

Yes I believe you can use ginger herbs to help out with the thrush. It also works great with ginkgo biloba.

There are many herbal remedies for thrush which including yogurt, baking soda/vinegar, plantain seed, acidophilus tablet, and calendula tincture.
