Is there a Sea Life Center in the U.S?

You can find about 4 different kinds of kinds of Sea Life Centers in US. One is in Seward Alaska, second one in Phoenix Arizona, third in Grapevine, Texas and the last one is located in Carlsbad, California. I have heard some new centers are opening up now. Don't have much information about them.

There are four Sea Life Centres in the US: Seward, Alaska; Phoenix, Arizona; Grapevine, Texas and Carlsbad, California. There are also two more opening in Dallas and Minnesota in 2011.

There is a Sea Life Center Located in Seward Alaska (125 miles South of Anchorage) named the ALASKA SEA LIFE CENTER. It features scientific research and up close perspectives of Alaskan marine life for the public. It is open year around except Christmas and Thanksgiving. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for children

There is a Sea Life Nature Center in South Padre Island, Texas; another in Avila Beach, California; one in Bellingham, Washington and the Alaska Sea Life Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

There is one in Legoland, in San Diego, California. It only recently opened, and my brother-in-law has been several times and loves it

There are two places that could be considered sea life centers in the US, Florida and California. These states contain more schools that offer Marine Biology degrees (California 13, Florida 14). There are plenty of opportunities for Marine Biologist to work.

I have visited a research facility/aquarium in Alaska called the Alaska SeaLife Center who have a website you could easily find. There are also various marine research facilities around the country, but none of them use the term "sea life center" to describe themselves.
