All keypad door locks, where you enter a code, lock automatically. Many door latches can lock automatically by pressing a button, but they are also prone to causing lockouts.

They actually make locks that will lock automatically when you walk out them, but they require you to put in a four digit number to get in. This could be safe for making sure your doors are locked. Just make sure to stand really close so that no one can see your number when you are putting it in.

Yes,if u fix sensor to your door it can be locked automatically when no one is around. And it will be opened when you want to open with help of remote which can work at home only .You can operate it from anywhere you want eg. from bedroom, hall, kitchen etc.

Actually yes there is. My brother-in-law just bought a new door knob for his house because they keep locking themselves out, so they got the digital one, where you don't need a key, it's a combination instead. After 30 seconds the door will automatically lock. You can pick these up at a hardware store and are anywhere from $100-250 dollars

I am unaware of any home doors that lock automatically. I do not think I would be interested if there was such one offered.
