No, there is no such a thing, because you are recording the picture shown in your screen. The protección is only activated when you try to copy the content of the dvd directly from the files on it.

yes we can protect digital copy between the DVD drive,decorder,and video card. Dvd is looks like CD-ROMs, but it can store more information. It is a good storage arias. It have good capacity to protect copies. The data will not disappiear,because it is digital protection. It canot loos any more.

Actually the copy protection feature is contained in the Physical DVD-ROM itself. This is known as Content Scramble System. You will need a DVD-VIDEO decoder to watch DVD-VIDEOS on your PC.

DVD drives' firmwares have built in regional locks to prevent DVD pirateering. This can usually be changed or removed by replacing the DVD drive firmware. The same applies for stand-alone DVD players. Decoders (codecs and video cards) have no information about the media or data they are processing therefore not having any copy protection.
