Is the Sony Trinitron TV worth buying?

While working in the electronic section many customers came in and said that Sony Triniton Television worked great and they really like the pixels. The television cost is cheaper than a lot of televisions but worth the money.

I would say no because they are outdated. You'll probably need a converter if you buy it without cable too.

The sony Triniton is a great television, completely worth buying. I own one myself and love the features it has. It has a clear picture with excellent quality. The sound is clear and loud. I have owned this television for aproximately 9 ears and have been very pleased with the quality.

Sony has always made great TVs and the Trinitron seemed to last for ever at the same time as keeping its high quality picture. Definitely worth the purchase price!

Sony makes some wonderful TVs, but note that they generally use the same screens as some of the Samsungs, and can be cheaper. I'm not a fan of Sony's menu system (the XrossMedia Bar) on their TVs, but it matchs the menu as on the PS3. Overall, if you can get a good deal on one, go for it.

yes its worth buying since it is easily affordable and reliable when you compare it to other kind of tv's which are now available in the market. it gives you bright images and 25% brighter than common masks,so go for it now fast.

Well... I have a friend that has the Triniton from Sony and he is very happy with this tv. I think all Sony televisions are good so you should buy it!

By my expirience Sony Trinitron TV-s are bad...They fail fast.Color fades very fast,screen fails rapidly.Sony Trinitron TV's have some fabric error...bether buy something else.

After reading many reviews for the Sony Trinitron TV I have found that it is worth buying. There are many more positive reviews than there are negative ones and the negative ones the problems with the TV are more minor issues than major.

No, it is not worth buying. The technology involved in it is out-dated especially with the new LCD screens and flat panel HD TVs that are currently available. Also, the Sony Trinitron is incredibly bulky and very heavy. On a personal note, my husband recently disposed of his Sony Trinitron at a television recycling center.
