Is the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) actually helping native Americans to advance?

NCAI has helped a lot in the past to stop Native American discrimination. However, NCAI has not done as much as in the late 20th century. Back in the 1980s, NCAI helped fight against Native American discrimination. Now NCAI still remains one of hte most important Indian organizations.

Yes. The settlement of the ongoing Cobell trust accounting litigation on behalf of Individual Indian account holders is a good example.

yes,NCAI is promoting the economy throughout the american Indians.and NCIA is very successful in advancing the Indians politically and economically.as i know Indians are not to pay the taxes on their own hold lands and they are trying to protect the rights of their native citizen and tribes living in america.
