The economy will not affect Renault because they mostly sell all their cars outside the US. So it doesn't have much link with the economy of the United States as all their customers are located outside the US.

The US economy doesn't effect them much since the don't sell cars here. It is unlike they will stop making cars since the group patterned with Nissan.
