Try to convince them that you are capable of making a payment. You can also declare bankruptcy, but is only recommended if your situation is more dire then just losing your car. You can also attempt to hide the car from creditors as a last resort, as they cannot use law enforcement to get it from you.

Well the reason a car is repossessed is that you have not made payments. Contact however you are financed through and see if some kind of deal can be made.

The easiest way is to make a payment and then make payment arrangements for the balance. Beyond that, you can try to call to get a stay of repossession with a promise to pay.
