Is rebond carpet padding okay to use with a new berber carpet?

In some rare instances, rebond pad has been know to discolor light colored Berber carpets. I am not sure that anyone really knows exactly why this happens. If this is a concern for you, rubber or felt pads are fine alternatives.

Yes, it is absolutely okay to use carpet padding with a new berber carpet. My friend has actually used this and it worked very well for. It should also last a while.

Yes it is actually okay to be using this padding. The padding provides support and usually works great with the berber carpet. I have actually been usig this myself and it is good.
