There are arguments on both sides. With online classes, young people miss out on the incredible experience of college: being away from home, learning to manage time, money, establishing relationships. Online classes are convenient for everyone. They are also prohibitively expensive. While online classes are great for working adults, they are not a substitute for the real thing.

No, not always. It depends on where a student obtains his/her online education. An accredited program from a brick and mortar school typically has a better reputation and stronger academic presence than schools who are just online. An online education can sometimes as challenging as a traditional education, depending on the course/degree selected and the dedication of the student.

Online education is really a lot like traditional education. There are good online teachers and there are bad online teachers. If the instructor and the course are both well organized, then an online course can be just as effective as a traditional course.

There are many online education schools. First, education is education. If you are learning, then you are bettering yourself as a person. Knowledge is king. First, you must see if the online education school you are registering for is reliable, if it is well known. You can't get a job without a degree, so it isn't bad.

Like other types of education, online education is what you make of it. Do your research, evaluate your own needs, and then give it your all. You can't go wrong!
