I wouldn't recommend L'oreal Feria, because it is a permanent color that also lifts color out of the hair. You might get an uneven result. The best product for covering gray is a Semi-Permanent Deposit-Only Color that will coat the hair shaft with color, such as Clair Natural Instincts.

This is by far the best dye I've ever used. I use their power reds and it covers all my grays and has amazing staying power. You can usually find it for a decent price, too.

I personally never used this product, but I have done some research and found that most people do not use this product because it is a metallic dye. It also lifts some color out your hair. Some people say that it may give you an uneven result.

I wouldn't recommend Feria for any hair. It is a metallic dye. If you want to color your hair with anything else it can start to smoke and dissolve hair.
