Is L'Oreal eye shadow just as good as more expensive shadows?

I have used eye shadows from Wet 'n Wild all the way up to MAC and I think L'Oreal is just as pigmented and has just as good pay out load as the more pricer brands like MAC and Urban Decay have. While I don't think they have as many color choices the colors they do have are great!

Yes, L'Oreal eye shadow is a quality product. L'Oreal has a reputation among drugstore makeup as being a premium brand at an affordable price. Their products use a high percentage of pigments, comparable to products available at department stores. Their HIP line is an especially good bargain.

L'Oreal's pressed eye shadow lines are certainly just as good as the more expensive brands on the market. In fact, their HIP line with high intensity pigments are awesome, although the color choices for the HIP line are limited.

The only difference with more expensive shadows is that they might be made of more expensive ingredients and they might last longer and have more vibrant colors. L'Oreal and other inexpensive brands work just as well.

I think there are some quality drugstore shadows, but as far as pigmentation and staying power, I think some of the department store cosmetics are a bit better. Sephora has been having a lot of deals with eyeshadow sets for a low price. They recently did a $10 3-full size eyeshadows from Stila and a full-size 6 shadows from Smashbox.

L'Oreal is the best. Don't pay more for expensive advertising.
