You can paint it with a plastics paint but the results usually will not last more than one or two years since the substance is put through extreme conditions with always being in weather and sunlight. Consider the costs of the paint compared to replacing to see which makes more sense for you.

Vinyl siding on homes are pre-painted before installation. Trying to paint them is tiresome and the paint does not stay on very long due to the fading resistence used.

There are special paints for vinyl siding. Be sure to pay careful attention to the instructions for how to prep the surface so that the paint will adhere well.
