Question by  Zach49 (27)

Is it possible to be pregnant and experience a regular menstrual cycle?

Answer by  DouglasEarlClore (1236)

During a regular menstural cycle, the lining of the uterine walls flush from the body. The fertilized egg resides in the uterine wall and could not survive a normal cycle.

It is possible, but very unlikely, not a lot of women experience it. You can also have a lot of spotting and bleeding during a pregnancy that can be different from your normal period. The best test is to get a pregnancy test if there is a chance of pregnancy

No. If you are pregnant you can have some spotting but you will not have a regular period each month. Spotting is much lighter than a normal period would be.

It is possible during the 1st trimester. Some women will have normal periods because they are shedding extra blood that their bodies don't need during pregnancy.
