Is it hard to raise a miniature Yorkshire?

What are some common problems with them?

Answer by  Jennifer94 (238)

In a word yes but totally worth it. Like any terrier they are independent spirits and likely harder to train. Yorkies are completely unaware of their size and have been known to take on dogs 5 times their size. They are also fiercely loyal and loving to their owners

The most common issue that people come across with Yorkies is that they are very tough to housebreak. It is common to see a one year old Yorkie who has not fully learned yet not to urinate in the house. Later in life, they have health concerns similar to those of other small breed dogs, such as luxating patellas.
