Is it dangerous to be a pizza delivery guy?

While some pizza delivery drivers have been robbed the incidence of robberies involving these drivers is relatively small. The drivers do not carry large amounts of cash and many individuals pay for their purchases with credit cards or checks as opposed to cash. Therefore there is really no more inherent danger in being a pizza driver than a normal person.

I wouldn't say that being a pizza delivery job is dangerous because a person could be robbed no matter what job he has.(e.g. cashier, bank robber, bar owner, or guard)
