If you are a pizza delivery person, do they provide you with auto insurance?

It seems only fair, since I'll be using my car.

I am not sure about your particular location, in Illinois it would be illegal for them to provide insurance for a vehicle they did not own. It is possible, though unheard of, that they could reimburse you for a portion or all of your vehicle insurance expenses. The OWNER of the vehicle has the legal obligation of insurance.

They do not provide insurance; you are required to have your own insurance in order to get the job. They do generally pay you mileage, however.

It actually makes more sense that you pay for the auto insurance. I'm sure that you drive this car many more places other than to deliver pizza. Also, if you crash your car and the rates go up they would have to pay more because of your mistake. It would create a lot of hassle and confusion.
