Is it better to use gas forced air over a conventional heating unit?

No, I think it is move fuel effiecient to run the conventional heating unit. I would think it would consume less energy. The gas forced air is very over the top if you are going for just a small cheap to run appliance. The gas forced just doesn't do it.

If you are looking to save money by having a gas bill then an electric bill, then you should invest in a gas forced air. However, you may have a problem with gas with various leaks and or gas smell in your home. Gas is cheaper but can be dangerous if not taken care of properly.
