Ralph Steadman, born in 1936, is still living. He was famed for his "gonzo" style of illustration. He did many drawings that accompanied articles written by Hunter Thompson and has a website of his art on the Internet.
No Ralph Steadman is not still alive. He died on February 20, 2005 from a self inflicted gunshot wound to his head at his compound, The Owl Farm in Colorado.
