Yes, I believe that diatomaceous is a GREAT buy for feals and ticks. It's safe, Plus it gets rid of fleas and ticks the natural way. I have never tried it with other pests, But it could possibly do the trick if needed, Only thing you can do is try to see if it works for you!

It is a sedimentary rock, mineral dust mined from quarries to a fine white powder. Within 72 hours the fleas and ticks will dry out and die. You can purchase a 5lb bag for around $14.00. It will kill pretty much any insect that comes in contact with it. I wish I had more time to tell you about it.

Diatomaceous earth works to kill pest by destroying their soft tissues. It is a good thing to use in your yard and around your baseboards to kill fleas - not so much, ticks. You want to be careful not to use it in areas where you have desirable bugs like lady bugs.
