Chlor-Trimeton also known as Pseudoephedrine, can be used for nasal or sinus congestion caused by the common cold, sinusitis, and hay fever as well as respiratory allergies. It is also used for ear congestion caused by ear inflammation or infection.

Chlortrimaton is effective on allergies, but a prescription is no longer required for this medicine. It can be brought over the counter.
