Allergies are an irritation of the nose, eyes and sometimes throat. Allergies usually involve the upper respiratory tract. Therefore, most allergy suffers will not have lung problems.
It depends on the type of allergy you have. Some allergies just affect the sinuses. But some allergies cause asthma which is a chronic respiratory disease.
Severe allergies can cause lung problems, hence allergies of all kinds must be treated as s
soon as possible. These allergies sometimes can create problems to others also, because
alleries are contegious disease.
It does not mean 100% you will, but allergies do make you more likely to develop asthma and and other chronic lung issues. Just stay healthy, you'll be fine.
