Is burnt orange paint okay in the kitchen?

It would be better to choose a more neutral color, such as beige or light gray, for the main color. If you like burnt orange, use it as an accent color in the curtains or part of the backsplash color.

It can be a great color for your kitchen. You should paint your home in colors that you like. Don't worry about what is okay or everyone's opinions. If you prefer a different color you can always find Orange accents, pots and pans or even kitchen appliances.

Color is a matter of taste. Burnt orange can create a number of effects, most often when I have seen this color the theme was Southwestern and was moderated by a lot of cream colored wood and green glass. Almost any color can be worked with, this should make your kitchen feem smaller and warmer.

I would say give it a try. You might try painting a piece of scrap cardboard or wood and holding it against the cabinets or counter to get an idea of what it will look like before you try it though.

For a large sized kitchen,burnt orange Paint may not be right. A Kitchen requires more brightness. Therefore white or some light coloured Paint would be better.
